Day 8

Today is January 12, 2009. Well I must admit. I cheated yesterday. Things were going good and I wasn't even tempted during the day. Took my little girl to a friends house to say hi to her friend. They just got back from buying a new dog. Invited me in to see the new puppy. I said ok, but I can't stay long. I was planning on going home and eating a salad. Before I know it they are inviting me to stay and eat pizza with them. They even mentioned getting me a salad...I told them ok, I will eat pizza with you. Thats my confession. I am back on track today. No set backs, just moving forward. Started out with my morning workout. Juiced for breakfast and so far had an awesome salad for lunch. I plan on doing a salad for dinner. I have been sleeping much better since i have been on this detox program. How is everyone else doing?

I'm getting pretty used to this, I think. I drank my morning juice this morning and decided to make the veggie soup with the recipe provided for us. I had a tiny bowl of soup in the late afternoon and then a few nibbles of spinach for dinner. I'm still not full of energy but I've been bad about working out (because I'm not full of energy I guess) and wonder if that might help. I was tired yesterday but other than that, felt fine. I've noticed that I've had much fewer headaches than normal, since I started the detox. Since I haven't followed the plan (fasted for a week instead of 3 days), I have yet to eat the fajitas and am considering doing that tomorrow. Maybe it will give me some energy? Happy Detoxing.

Fasting is a good thing, but also maybe the reason you are feeling fatigued. I do encourage you to go workout if you can. Don't go to hard the first time back, give it few days before you are back to where you like to be in the gym.
