Day 4

Today is January 8, 2009.  Things are still going great.  Feeling better each day.  I did break the juice fast today.  That is Ok.  I thought about going longer and wasn't really hungry, it was just my choice.  Those that feel they can go longer, please do its great for your body.  I encourage all you detoxers to come into the clinic and do a few of the detox therapies.  They help the body eliminate much of these toxins we are trying to get rid of.  My 2 favs are the infrared sauna and the oxyspa.  These open up the skin so the skin can purge out the toxins.  I spent 30 minutes in the infrared sauna today, it felt so good.  I had the best salad I ever had at lunch today.  Isn't always the best when you really want to eat something?  My juicing is still going strong.  How is everyone else doing?

What a day! I decided to continue with my fasting for Day 4. Woke up full of energy and feeling great. My husband took the day off and we went on a 2 hour hike in Denton Creek. Normally it's 4 hrs but since I haven't eaten solid food since Sunday, we thought we'd better cut it in half. Boy am I glad we did. I was full of energy and cruising until 45 minutes in. By the time were home, I crashed. I took a nap and have just relaxed the rest of the day, and drank my juice. But I decided to eat an avocado for dinner because I just feel weak. Will juice again all day tomorrow, though. Only wierdness today is that I've been somewhat short of breath and my upper back is achey. Otherwise all is well and I'll continue into Day 5. Great to hear from Halli. I look forward to following your blogs next week.

Good stuff Nicole. Sounds like detoxing symptoms. I had great energy all day as well. I even worked out as normal at LA Fitness today. I am up at 11pm writing this so my energy is back. You do need to be careful when doing activities. Your body was still fatigue easily if over exerting it. Have a great night of sleep and a great day tomorrow. I will keep posting.
